Hello—I'm Matthew Rushworth, founder of Blindsided Games. Since 2022, I’ve gone from experimenting with game development to launching full-scale titles on Steam, including Echoes of Vasteria, which continues to grow through regular content updates and community feedback. I specialize in incremental and systems-driven design—building layered gameplay loops, procedural worlds, and progression systems that reward long-term engagement.
Blindsided Games is my creative space for turning ideas into polished, playable experiences. I focus on clean design, responsive UI, and mechanics that feel good from the first click to the hundredth hour. Alongside expanding EoV, I’m prototyping new projects that blend roguelite combat, automation, and large-scale strategy.
At home, I’m a proud father to a two-year-old, with another future playtester arriving soon—both constant reminders of why I value games that respect your time.
